Description

Treatment for Parkinson’s Disease is tailored to address the unique needs associated with the condition through specialized, research-based Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT)® techniques. NMT® interventions focus on improving these areas by utilizing rhythm and melody to stimulate neural pathways. NMT® interventions can target healthcare goals related to movement, like walking, cognition, speech & language, and psychosocial functioning.

Area of Expertise

I have personally worked with adults with Parkinson’s in volunteer, professional, and clinical settings. While each individual’s healthcare journey differs, I have an understanding of what that journey looks like and with my knowledge of music therapy and neuroscience, I am able to develop successful treatment plans for my clients.
