Description

Our wellness programs include creative therapy, paint class, socialization and games, and a Day Hospice program. All of our programs are aimed at increasing the well-being of our clients by providing them with creative and socials outlets to connect with themselves and others. We also facilitate support groups, including a new Parkinson’s Support Group in affiliation with Parkinson Canada to support those facing a Parkinson’s diagnosis and their care partners. In addition to this, we have a visiting volunteer service available for clients. Our trained volunteers visit clients in home, providing a space for conversation, connection, and reflection. This also allows for respite for their caregivers, aiming to help prevent caregiver stress and burnout. Grief and bereavement support is also available for those who have lost someone in their life. Our trained grief support workers meets one-on-one with clients and also facilitates a drop-in grief group via Zoom.
