Description

Neurological physiotherapy is the assessment and treatment of individuals who are dealing with physical changes secondary to an injury or disease of the brain or spinal cord.
A Neuro Zone Physiotherapist will come to your home for the first appointment to carry out an in-depth neurological assessment. The results of this assessment will provide a baseline and together with your therapist, you will set goals and come up with a treatment plan.
Also teaches a weekly group exercise class for individuals with Parkinson’s disease at Parkinson Wellness Projects (PWP) in Victoria, BC.
A Neuro Zone Physiotherapist will come to your home for the first appointment to carry out an in-depth neurological assessment. The results of this assessment will provide a baseline and together with your therapist, you will set goals and come up with a treatment plan.

Area of expertise

Have completed various postgraduate courses in the area of neurological physiotherapy including the Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) Association Certificate Course in the Management of Adults with Stroke and Brain Injury, the Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!), Therapist Certification, the National Orthopaedic Division Level 1 Manual Therapy Certification, Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) training, and Vestibular Rehabilitation training.
