For more than 40 years, Parkinson Association of Alberta has been the source for support, education and advocacy for individuals and families affected by Parkinson disease. Parkinson Association of Alberta provides emotional, practical, educational and active support for people living with and caring for someone affected by Parkinson disease or Parkinson’s Plus Syndromes.

Description

This program is ideal for those individuals whose spouse/partner or loved one who has been recently diagnosed with Parkinson disease or a Parkinson’s Plus Syndrome. This session will take a look at both Parkinson disease and Parkinson’s Plus Syndromes from a Care Partner perspective and include discussion on facial masking, apathy, communication, selfcare, and more.
