The professionally facilitated Bereavement Support Group, is offered by Parkinson Society BC, and is open to anyone who is dealing with the challenges of loss and grief. This group takes place biweekly on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Founded in 1969, Parkinson Society British Columbia is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering the Parkinson’s community by providing resources and services to enable self-management, self-reliance, and self-advocacy. They support individuals with Parkinson’s and their loved ones through one-on-one consultations, free short-term counselling, healthcare navigation, virtual physiotherapy, support groups, educational seminars and workshops, and the PD Link peer support program. The Society also advocates for improved care, produces informational materials, offers specialized training for healthcare professions, and funds research to advance treatments.
